Genefinity successfully accomplished the realization of a brand new line of thermal sensors. The innovation lies in the new thin-film thermocouple, which allows a sensitive reduction of the encumbrance and an extremely fast response time (some ms, depending on the model). The customer can choose among a wide variety of technical features.
Type and support: different types with the related technical data are summarized in the table here below. The standard support is composed by two coupled Kapton sheets and allows a maximum temperature of 350°C. For the overcoming of this limit other substrates are available, such as stainless steel or ceramic material. The latter could be useful for the employ in hostile environments, characterized by high temperature and by the presence of corrosive agents.
Shape and dimensions: the Kapton supports are obtained by punching and both shape and dimension are completely custom, whereas for the other supports the manufacture is more complicated and still object of study. The support thickness represents the most peculiar feature of our device and the geometry of the system has a high freedom, as stated by the technical data summarized in the table and the pictures here below.

The final packaging can be completed by:
