Genefinity aims to develop new processes and products for the industry of biosensors and biomedical devices. With a strong eye for innovation and new products engineering and industrialization, Genefinity features a set of products amongst which:

Biosensors for genetic screening

Genefinity develops new solutions in the field of biosensors, with particular reference to genetic mass-screening devices. Both the disposable device and the readout equipment are fully designed and manufactured in-house for maximum control over the technical and economical issues.

Roll-to-Roll direct patterning

Genefinity provides a wide range of solutions for those interested in patterning polymeric substrates (films) with metals and non-conductive materials in a high vacuum environment, by sputtering or evaporation. Our patented technology allows for avoiding photo-etching or other reworking steps to get the desired pattern, thus permitting a true one-step solution for increased yield, cleanliness and reliability of the process. Possible fields of application: biosensors, smart labels, disposable substrate for biochemical assays, etc.

Roll-to-Roll vacuum processing pilot plants

Our machines are always designed from the ground up by our engineering group, using highly optimized solutions to implement both consolidated and innovative process capabilities, while keeping the costs of the equipment low. Genefinity offers a wide set of pre-defined configurations to fit the common necessities of research groups and R&D departments, offering at the same time a full-customization service at very competitive rates.

Beyond this, to better fulfil the requests of our customers, Genefinity offers a wide range of engineering services, ranging from classical equipment design to multiphysics FEA simulations to material testing and analyses. The latter capability comprises both classic analytic methods and advanced inspection techniques, like Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy (SNOM) and Micro-focus Raman Spectroscopy.
